    My last Discovery had a rusted-out fuel tank cradle. I made one from 2 pieces of a Ford Focus floorboard. I welded the 2 halves together, bent it to shape, worked great. It would have easier to buy one, but they can be expensive here and money was a bit tight for me then.

    We don't have a machine Mart over here, but we do have a harbor freight . A 3/4" breaker bar is nice to have on hand

    My '98 Epsom Green Discovery was worse than that. I patched it up, and drove it for 5 years, then sold it. Just be sure to check over the chassis. When I went to change my cat converters, I found a huge hole in the frame behind each one. Had to cut out the rust and weld in some steel plate...

    I repaired some more leaking window seals on my Discovery 1. It spent the first part of it's life in southern California, so the window seals are all dried up
