    Diff Lock warning light wiring

So, went looking for the connectors, and I found a completely unconnected multi connector, next to another multi connector, and a couple of smaller ones. Is this something which I should be worried about? What usually gets plugged into that. It's located just towards the drivers side on the...

    Diff Lock warning light wiring

Yeah, it's earthed on the casing. The other terminal didn't have anything at all. So I've run up a new cable to somewhere near the back of the dashboard, so I was wondering whether there was a multi block connector in the loom somewhere that I could splice it into? Any pictures could also help. :)

    Diff Lock warning light wiring

Hi All, I noticed that the Difflock warning light on the dashboard of my 110 wasn't working, so after a quick investigation found that it didn't have a wire from the switch to the dashboard... Simple enough, I thought, and added a wire to the switch, but can't find where to connect it to...

Military Window Tops on a 110 - Replacement Seals

OK, A bit late, but it took me a little time to get around to taking the door top out to fix a few things at the same time. This is the flocked window rubber that I got https://coh-baines.co.uk/product/channel-6mm-id-15m-coil/ I didn't get the full 15m coil, but they sold me some by the metre...

Cubby Box - What's in yours?

I think that they can live in the cubby box itself, along with the KitKat, Lion Bar wrapper, and blown bulb collection!

Cubby Box - What's in yours?

I'm thinking as a temporary measure, I'm going to raise up the cubby box that I have (as it's far too low as an arm rest) and move it back a little (to allow for some room for a cup holder on the front). I've already added the switches for some heated seats (probably not get too much use until...

Cubby Box - What's in yours?

Given the extra time we have, for the next few weeks... My thoughts have turned to making a new cubby box, as mine has seen better days, and doesn't have any cup holders. I was wondering what people kept in theirs, as that could influence the design of the one I'm planning. So, let me know...

Military Window Tops on a 110 - Replacement Seals

Thanks Callisr I read that one, and I've found somewhere that does the felt lined rubber extrusions, and I ordered some (about £5/m and I got 3 m as I think that should do both the windows) I'll try fitting it first, and if (when) it works, I'll post the details so that others can see if they...

Replacing front door locks and strikers

They are new locks and new strikers - The old locks were not the anti burst type, and I just feel a little safer knowing that they are "less likely" to just open half way down the road. I "Think" that I need to create a bit of a better door angle by using a spacer on the hinge to bring the door...

Replacing front door locks and strikers

Hi All, After my drivers door popped open a couple of times while driving, and doing a little bit of research on which type of locks I could have, I decided to get the anti burst door locks and new strikers. They arrived today, and I was "optimistic" as to how much daylight and dryness there...

Military Window Tops on a 110 - Replacement Seals

Hi all, I have a rattle on my door window, and when I look at the vertical seal, it's basically all gone thin and if you touch it, it just turns into powder... I popped into Paddocks, but the seal they had was much too thick. I seem to remember reading something about someone saying about...

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

Windows Paint, and a huge amount of patience! I'll have to investigate the wiring I have, and then get it mapped out, will make the future much easier when the inevitable issues rear their heads.

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

Awesome diagrams, I assume however that as mine is originally a 1985 One Ten, with a 200Tdi engine, that some of the wiring will be a hybrid of the 1985 and the 1986 onwards plans... And also that some "modifications" may have been made in the intervening years. Did you Draw those plans, if so...

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

OK, contact cleaner with grease? I meant get a live wire and touch the contact to see whether it spins up This sounds like a better plan than the touch test :) Yeah, that sounds a good plan I'm not 100% I have anything in front of the motor, that's how I can reach in and spin up the fan with...

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

OK - so WD40, wire direct to the terminal to see if that works, then replace the blower motor if all of that fails. Thanks!

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

OK - Should I give it a direct feed to see if it spins up, and if it does, replace the wiring, and if it doesn't its the bushes? If it's the bushes, I assume it's a replacement unit?

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

Yeah - it's the black snail!

Heater Fan, doesn't work until it's spun

Sorry if this has been done to death already, but I can't find anything similar by looking. Hi there all, I've got a heater fan which doesn't switch on with the switch, I have to get out, pop my hand in the bonnet and spin the fan with my fingers, once it's going, it keeps going, but it needs...
