Left my 300 TDI parked up while I was at work, when I returned to it there was no oil pressure, as in 100% loss, took supply pipe off turbo, ran it for couple of seconds and there was nothing coming out, Does the oil pump fail on these? can't see how the pick up pipe would break or come off...

Have bought a recon from TM Transmissions, seems to be 100% genuine.

Have done it now, took transfer box off and removed pin holding gears. The wire band around the diff has broke, and the round pins have come out chewing up the casing.

I am tyring to get the center diff out of my 110, R380 box, front and rear covers are off, all bolts out but cog is stuck at the rear end, what am I doing wrong? can anyone help please

I think my 300 has been "tweeked" as it pulls like buggary when towing 2.8ton it throws out alot of black smoke and is doing 13-14mpg!, and getting through 2 -3 tanks aweek, expensive to run. Have read somewhere about adjusting the tension of the spring under the diaphram in the top of the pump...

our 03 td4 sport has been playing up today, when on the motorway at a steady 70mph!, it changes down 1 gear and will not change up or down, we have to stop engine and it starts up after about 5 mins, F 4 flashes up on the lcd screen, it happened 4 times in 300 mile, has this happened to anyone else?

Hi, had a bit of trouble with an old range rover, turned out the front c/v joints inside the hubs had worn a grove out driving straight. steering would get stuck sometimes when turning. might be that.
