    I haven't seen a MK1 LHD drive conversion and maybe you'd have to cut and shut the fire wall ? I have seen Mk1 Escorts converted this way for the brake servo and steering column but the firewall is a later design. £12000 should get you a very reasonable GT, I'll keep me eyes peeled...
