Here’s the carb - is this a zenith or copy or Solex? I want to put a Webber on - it’s a 2.5 engine. What Webber will work and will I need a base plate - seems like there’s one under this carb Thanks

Hi I’ve got a Series 3 with a 2.5 petrol engine in it. What carb should be on it ? I think the previous owner has used a carb off a 2.25 Can you help re Webber model ? I’ve been told twin choke then others say not - Confused !! Cheers

Hi Weird Series 3 My bonnet will not close. Replaced the slam plate and lever but the rod from the bonnet is still 4-5 mm to the right and there’s no play to line up. I’ve loosened the bonnet hinges. There’s a rubber bush missing from behind the rear bonnet edge - any thoughts helpful. Feels...

I have a swb 88 series 3 I’m wanting to change over to a cab and 3/4 canvas. I have hoops for a full canvas Can I use these? Did the car come with hoops mounting holes to take both a full and 3/4 canvas set up. She still has the hard top on. Cheers
