Hi mate did you find what the issue was at all? I'm having exactly the same problem and I have blown 2 FL9 fuses in trying to source the issue.

I tried the double lock pressing and the alarm still sounds when I press to unlock. If I use the Nanocom in the BCU as instructed above what functionality do I lose? Is it just the superlocking?

Will try the double press to lock tomorrow and get back to you. I bit the bullet and bought a NanoCom Evo today.

I tried the pressing twice prior to opening as suggested earlier up your post but that didn't make a difference as still sounds on initial pressing. Thankfully it turns off when I press it again and all is ok from then on so like you, I'm looking at where to start.
