    Banging/knocking noise...

Thanks Nodge68. Just one thing which I forgot to mention. We have a small plot of land and when I drove the Freelander slowly off road it didn't seem to make the noise, it just seems to be when I'm on normal roads.

    Banging/knocking noise...

Hi all, just a quick one - and hopefully a cheap one .. my 1999 Freelander makes a knocking/banging noise when turning, seems to drive well apart from that (it's a project that I've not owned very long and my first LR) any ideas on what it could be? Cheers.

So had two attempts, one with someone pushing down on the bonnet and one with someone pulling up the bonnet and it remains closed, it doesn't want to play!

    Freelander Series 1 - bonnet won't open.

Hi all, new to this group, new to Land Rover ownership. I've bought a 1999 Freelander XEDi. as a project. Off to a great start as the bonnet won't open. The lever and cable within the cabin look intact, but when i pull the lever back it doesn't seem to do anything, maybe the cable has stretched...

    Irish Newbie!

Hi all, well for the first time ever I own a Land Rover! I've bought a project, its a 1999 Freelander EXDI. Absolute bargain of a thing, very straight, no rust, no damage, just been off the road for a few years so needs some TLC. I'm an absolute newbie, so get ready for lots of questions...
