Hi all .. Its been a little while since I sold my 99 td5 110 , and I have to say that I have missed it.. we have decided to look for another defender, and Im thinking double crew cab .. My defender was a td5, for the most was hassle free .. I have never driven the Puma so I cant compare...

Yeah I got the impression that he got it wrong , then tried to back track .. Landrover don’t seem to give a open or closed length to there standard shocks .. And I’m sure he didn’t measure one ... lol

My tow bar is fine , I use it with a bike trailer all the time I just didn’t think it was rated , strong enough for using to do a snatch ? I might be wrong ???

Yeah , im just waiting for a new grease gun for just that .. Got everything else done , gearbox, transfer , diffs , and engine .. the drain plug for the gearbox was a bit stubborn ..

the fill plug moved , that was ok .. just the drain plug , it was solid ... Changed my plans for tomorrow , so will give it another go in the morning ...

little update So today I did , engine oil, air filter , both oil filters , both diff's , transfer box ... run out of time to do the gear box , tho the drain plug on the gear box would not move at all , it was solid ... any tips .. Will have a go at it latter in the week now ....

Hi all had to fix a sticky wast gate today , and set the actuator length while I was there I checked the end float on the turbo core .. How much end float , before a new turbo is needed .. Thanks ... Oh its a 110 , td5 defender ... Cheers ...

yeah , I have done that today , preempting swapping it out ..
