Just found head gasket is gone in 300tdi! No oil/water mix just pumping coolant out ot expansion tank! What's involved in repair? Is it DIY? Have to drive Mondeo instead so need fix fast,even though mondeo is 2.5 v6!

no real special tools required to do whellbearing and at less than £40 for two wheels (bearmach parts) from Mailorder4x4 they take about half hour a corner

Fitted similar seats in my 300 but the control switches had to fit on side of centre box

where did you buy springs? my back door gone aswell!!!!!!!!:confused:

thanks for the info will look into this one a bit more deeply i have damaged middle box several times when off roading, but managed to repair for mot! will have a look at paddocks as have the disco has its name on it!!!!!!!!!!:)

Hi guy's I have read an advert somewhere that had a pipe that replaced centre box on exhaust but am struggling to find it again. Not sure if it was for Tdi or V8. Is there such a pipe???

use a phosphate primer. I use it o all steel welds on construction grade steel.better than underseal too!!!!

I normally get around 500 on a tank on all round driving including off roading once a month:)

:) Just joined yesterday, bought my Disco 300tdi in August and thoroughly enjoying it especially the off road bit. Stephen (10 yr old son ) and I off road at every oppurtunity. ?Though bought as standard we hope to have it lifted and kitted before landy fest 2008. Wife permitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
