Ive got a new one! My original stereo hasn't worked since I got the rangie. Its a standard stereo with 6 cd changer unit. No sat nav or owt like that. Anyway today for about 10 minutes intermittently it started working with sounds coming out! There is still nothing on the display, however...

Fixed it!! Got the answer on another forum, it was the small plastic length between the sensor unit and the long arm was pointing the wrong way! turned it towards the wheel instead of away from the wheel and its running like a dream! thanks for your help and support though guys, I am much...

Oh, I know, I am grateful for the advice, I just don't want to involve the mechanic as I doubt I could hold my temper right now! I might have to replace the sensor and see what happens| Now its just locating one on a weekend :(

Ok, thanks for the advice about the mechanic, but as stated I would rather get this sorted myself. So please could we keep the replies about the problem in hand as im trying to get this sorted. Thanks :)

Just want it sorted, that's why I need to know if there is any way I can test the sensor. Ive posted the diagnostic info earlier in the thread so hopefully someone can give me an idea where to look!

Ok, have unplugged and plugged in again and still the same. Doesn’t show the fault when stationary and off the jack. Front left voltage 15.56 (all of the others are 2-4) Reservoir pressure 11.57 bar Front left bellows valve off So am I looking at replacing the sensor? Is there any way of...

Ok, got it plugged in and it says front left height sensor fault. Now where would I find the height sensor? Lol Jacked up the left side by the body jacking point and it keeps coming up with that fault.

And yes I did introduce myself in the right area.

Well it were fine before it was jacked up lol, so I am hoping its not an actual fault and just needs a reset :)

OK, an update. Spent 30 mins outside with the door open and the engine running. Nothing, so I thought I would take it round the block and see if it reset itself. Nothing other than now I have the Air Susp Inactive error and no lights on the suspension control panel. not even the indicator light.

Air suspension was fine the week before when I took it to a garage. They said it was all hunky dory :(

Nope, no error messages on the dash (had the air susp inactive the other week because the battery voltage was low). Havent tried with the door open for 10 mins yet. Ive no lights on the up/down switch and when I move the switch for raise or lower it flashes the corresponding indicator light...

Yes I have started the car, its going up and down slowly at the back when I try and raise/lower the suspension, but nothing on the front properly. I think it needs the level sensor resetting somehow?

Hi, i'm Dan. Had many many land rovers of all shapes and sizes over the years but have gotten myself an L322 Range Rover for a bit of comfort :)
