    My range is an auto, I have never done any work on a car before (sad but true)... both my dad and brother are mechanics so I never had the inclination but neither of them live in the UK so now I have to learn... lol

    This is my first Range but I still have a 2004 Freelander as well .... am no mechanic but like I said I am willing to learn so if there are any "beginners" things that I could do or check to start me off that would be good.

    LOL, I never did it myself .... had a Rover specialist look at it for me £700 + vat :eek: I am not confident enough to fiddle yet... but want to learn... ;)
