    Yes sorry mean 2000rpm. Batteryis a RR Varta logo battery 110ah 850amp. Exactly same that the car has been running on for years with no problem until this year when everything seems to have come along at the same time

    Earth to chassis was cleaned when new alternator supplied by LRdirect last week for my vehicle. The original was even tested and found to be okay but not sure how in-depth quickfit do check.

    Yes your right the alternator problem seems the most likely cause of the increase fan and rpm speed and battery indicator. Possibly with hevac issue also.
