Hi, I am finally getting my 130 defender rebuilt. It is currently a rolling chassis with new galvanised chassis and bulkhead. Can anyone advise of a good workshop manual showing rebuild details, door pillars to chassis etc, showing fixing needed? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Nick

Hi all, still rebuilding a 130, and looking at putting in a diesel air/water heater. Has anybody done this/recommend which to use? Webasto ,Eberspacher or perhaps a Warmda? Thanks people. Nick

It may have been unwise, yes! Like you say, probably get some firm foam and re-shape. Pity not to use the panels now that they are galvanised.

Hi all, have stripped the dashboard top and panel, removing all foam as well. Had them galvanised and now need to recover. Has any body done this? Not sure which foam I should use, s there a product than can be sculpted once applied to get the original contours? I have seen the trim upgrade...

Am spending a small fortune on a rebuild, including galvanising steel body cappings, seat box bottom etc. I know that corrosion can happen between Aluminium and galv steel. Any advice on prevention would be a great help. Which rivets to use, barrier tape between, waxoil etc ? Many thanks, Nick

Hi Litch, I bought original LR doors because of stories about non genuine doors being rubbish. I got the fully galvanised 2015 ones. Got the the 2 front door inner panels as well. Devon 4x4 quoting over 2.5k for all the bits including c locking and leccy front windows. Think I'll end up buying...

Hi fellow landy owners. Have splashed the cash and bought some new 2015 doors for a defender 130 rebuild. Can anybody help me find part numbers for the internals? Seems to be a bit of a nightmare..... Thanks Nickjw66
