Cheers lightning.. Well new starter is going on today. So fingers crossed. It will be one of the strangest scenarios I've ever come across in my 51 years. Will report back to all later.

No bud. Just ordered it..put new solenoid kit in present one because of sticking plunger , cranks great now, but problems started since fitting .worked on motors most my life but this has got me. If I hadn’t seen no rpm on diagnostics data I would still be following fuel path.

Yes I changed terminal to c/s . Shielded and twisted new cable .triple checked ohms from sensor 1.23 ohms . Checked position of cables .continuity good.i think it was one of your reply’s to another post when you stated it is the windings in the starter not the solenoid that causes the spikes to...

Yes bud as stated 4 plus bar at reg. I’m 99 present certain not fuel.more inclined to chase the fact that there’s no rpm showing on live data when cranking .
