    Nodge! Going back to your post about balancing. I might have been wrong? maybe Shelley Shafts just balanced the two prop shafts and then built it all up with the new bearings ready to fit. However it's silky smooth now!

    I don't have that experience so for me it's easier to put the air jack under the front, lift the whole front end remove both front wheels and swap the links, pushing the ARB down is easy with a 1200mm length of 50mm x 100mm and the fat bloke from next door!!!

    Mmmm There's always one smart ass who thinks there's a quicker/better way...As it happens I don't have a hydraulic ramp which would make life simples! ...try changing these without removing the front wheels and let me know how long it takes???

    OK Guys! Bought these on the way home from work today and fitted them in just about an hour. got the air jack out lifted the front easy! These were recommended but a bit pricey at a £39 pair but check the logo they are supplier to NASCAR so finger crossed! Just look at the state of the the drop...

    Nodge! It's not just a case of having a new vcu fitted you need both bearings replaced and then have the whole thing balanced other wise your teeth will fall out! Anyway with a 10 month warranty the guys home address an email address & personal mobile contact details I felt pretty confident...

    I just bought a re-conditioned VCU with 10 months warranty £199 (exchange) ebay. Had it fitted with 2 new bearings and the shaft balanced for £400 ALL IN! Not the end of the world if you've got a decent Lander. Don't know if the old one was shagged or not but the rear wheels were kicking out on...

    Doesn't sound too serious I'm sure it's a pretty easy fix. Some one once said "With Land Rovers if it doesn't move & it should WD40 it. If it does move & it shouldn't Gaffa Tape it! :)
