    Discovery 3.9 v8 - rebuilds, reliability, options….

Heads are the same 3.5 to 4.6 the only difference was the change to 10bolt heads in 1994 and the very early 3.5's had smaller valves... Also the latter 4.0 and 4.6 have a stronger bottom end with cross bolted mains, quite a sturdy unit, And yes you are not limited to motronic (thor) or Lucas...

    Discovery 3.9 v8 - rebuilds, reliability, options….

Top hat liners are a mandatory fit if you want a bulletproof motor all RV8 builders fit them as a matter of course. Preventing slipped liners, fuelling and cooling are the 2 main killers, too lean a fuel mixture causing excessive heat and a neglected cooling system doing the same. 4.6 short...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Where the rear bumper sits on the quarter panel, on the OSR the seam sealer has failed and rust has eaten a hole in the body. ] Not too bad, annoying more than anything.

    P38 modifications

Modifications should be the last thing you should be thinking of.. Cobar blue by the looks of it, with some already crap "ahem" choice upgrades.... :vb-upsidedown: I'd get to grips with the mechanicals before anything else.
