Hi Zeaphod thanks for replying. Yes I am getting the battery and oil pressure lights at position two. How can I check if it’s the ignition switch or solonoid?

My 1985 2.25 Petrol 90 will not start. When you turn the ignition key half way you can hear the fuel pump tick, but on full turn there is nothing. No noise, no turn over, just dead. The battery is new. Please help!
