What did you do with your Range Rover today

Believe you me but it can. Then when you start driving it rocks about, dont forget it has an anti role bar at the front. I have had the same on cars with broken springs they look ok when stationary but handle bad when driving.

I made my setting blocks from the handle from my garden rake as it was 30mm dia. Cut it up in to the required sizes. It was so easy setting it up this way. Tape is useless tried it a few times it was never right after. Just need a new handle for my rake now:)

    Releasing a stuck clutch.

I have freed of a stuck clutch by this method with grate success a few times. Start up the engine and get it up to working temperature keep it going for as bit longer so the heat spreads to the flywheel. Switch off , if it is a petrol engine disconnect the coil so that the engine cannot start...

The Stealers are very poor anyway when it comes to P38 I went to get some touch up paint for my car. They checked it out from the VIN. It is obsolete they said. But the paint is the same colour as used on some of the L322's I got some off the net no problem.

One simple think I would try is, sit in the car and try locking and unlocking the car using the lock door latch then tern the ignition key and see what dash says. If it says use fob I would say it could be your door latch micro switches have failed .

Normal garages dont understand P38's For one thing special diagnostics are required for P38s the OBDII readers that most garages have won't work properly with the car. Also the security system on P28s is rather enthusiastic at immobilising the car. All the electrics need to be working properly...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Thanks, I am not entirely new to the forum have been here a few times. I had a P38 HSE 4.6 on gas way back around 2003. It was a dog of a thing. The liners had slipped and I ended up with gasket trouble. The LPG was problematic to start with as had not been fitted properly. It was very tired...

So you can still get in to the car then. What made it disable its self? As I have 2001 P38 and it started to give problems as the micro switches in the drivers door lock failed. So the car thought it was being stolen. The Computer thought the door was locked shut even though it was open so...

Today I set the air suspension back up on my P38. It had been driving me mad as it was just not right. Bad ride even though it sat right. The setting the EAS using a tape from wheel centre to wheel arch is no good as you have no way of knowing how much pressure is in the air bag. So the car...
