(Not so) Quick update :) I have removed my prop and love the car. We have been through snow and ice and still made it to work sadly haha. Now the little ******* has started to give me a knock from the passenger side front which I am planning to sort out on Friday and today the little ****...

I just put the roof bars on this morning and was dying to use them :D

Mine seemed to handle alot better when I went from 26psi that they where at when I bought it to 31

Sounds like you have more fun than me haha.

Tried to get the prop off and the bolts are seized grrrr left them in gt40 see if that will help. Also took this pic. Could this be my mysterious noise?

I've checked the tyres they are all identical and pretty much brand new. I have got them at 31psi at the moment due to towing. The front rcu bearing looks like it's been on the car since new the rear one looks pretty new. I will have a go at the one wheel test and go from there I think.

To remove the Cheers for your reply I was planning to take off the prop today just waiting for the torque socket to turn up. Do you know what oil goes in the ird ?

So my delightful :D freelander has developed a noises when I change gear it's like a clunk mixed with abit of scraping. Also when I corner a bit hard it makes more of a machine gun clunk. I've been under this morning and pretended I know what I am looking for. A couple questions how much...

I have an L series 2l xedi freelander has anyone fitted a decat pipe on theirs? Does it improve the mpg And does it sound alright?

Are they any good for greenlaning?

I will eventually get a new vcu but it needs a few bits of the body work doing first and I want to somehow get a snorkel on it. (Just for looks). Have you ever tried a decat pipe on yours?

Thats my next job. If it is on its way out I think I am just going to take the prop out and run it like that.
