I took a bulb out and checked continuity and it wasnt blown but i didnt check voltage at the holder will do that tomorrow. And yes i do have a funny feeling it could have something to do with the engine being fitted because the temp gauge isnt registering neither

Hi all, ive recently bought a 86' defender 90 with a Daihatsu engine and i have no illumination behind any of the clocks speedo fuel or voltmeter. Ive checked the fuses earlier but none blown im a bit baffled any clues would be a great help Thank you

Yes the 2.8 but its the early one its got a leak from the exhaust manifold so thats guna be a great job

Evening all, i have recently purchased my first 86' defender which has been fitted with a Daihatsu Engine which i know some wont approve. It's riddled with the usual landrover issues barely anythink works lol needs loads of work and is on the original chassis which has been patched previously...
