Great thanks Nodge. Mike - I want to get it home first, then I can fiddle and fettle :)

Problem is it won't start in P or N (has been temperamental for a few weeks but "wiggling gear lever" solved the issue - now won't start at all) ....everything else is ok, once it is started all drives fine (apparently). I just want to get it started to give it a double check and to get it home...

Hi all, First post on here! Looking to return to a Freelander (previously had one and have recently sold our Disco 3) and have spotted one locally that might be worth a punt....the inhibitor switch (xyz sensor??) is apparently duff. What is the process for bypassing this to get the Hippo home...
