    L322 heater problem

Ahh no this isn't the valve that I need, it's this one 283440379141 Well, it looks identical to mine but has a different part number, maybe it's an updated version? Anyway I stripped mine down again and tested it on a battery and the solenoid activates so I've ordered a repair kit for it to...

    L322 heater problem

I know Haha, it's about ready for a torque converter as it's starting to judder on a slight incline below 30 ish, was serviced last year and made a massive improvement, basically fixed it for almost 12,000 miles, but it's just clocked over 200,000 miles now so how far do you go

    L322 heater problem

Much appreciated for all the replies, I have finally found the cure to the range rovers cold! I'm going to look like a bit of a wally here because it was the first thing I went to! It's the changeover valve, the rubbers are swelled that badly it's blocked all ways! I removed it again today to...

    L322 heater problem

Thanks for the reply, Right okay, yeah I've taken the plenum out to attempt to figure out where everything goes, so if the heater valve is playing games then that would cause the issue? Is there any reason why they would be opening and closing when they please?

    L322 heater problem

Bit of an update Had another good few hours at it today, pressure tested the system and it remains constant so no leaks, decided to try and bleed it for about the hundredth time, if I run the engine with the bleed screw removed completely the water returns at a normal rate and then all of a...

    L322 heater problem

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to buy a pressure tester to see if there's any pinholes anywhere I can't spot that is dragging air in Strange thing is the rear is red hot, don't seem to be having any issues there just the front! I've got a lynx evo and I've reset everything and there's no...

    L322 heater problem

Hi guys, I'm at the end of my tether with this one! The heater has started acting up big time and I can't find any other posts with the same symptoms, the heater goes cold, then both sides balance out luke warm at absolute best, then one say the passenger side goes freezing cold and the...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

Much appreciated everybody for your replies, there is a lot of valuable info there! I think the next step is like @Saint.V8 said to get it onto a live data stream and check if the vibration occurs in time with the lock up clutch then go from there, hoping I've caught it early enough just to need...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

After reading the last few posts again I would like to apologise @gstuart for being so abrupt, I know it's not an excuse but I am just so frustrated and clutching at straws for answers now as every specialist i speak to, even ZF approved, say over the phone 'the whole lot needs rebuilding, give...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

I do need to sort the leak out but by adding oil it didn't make a difference, I don't think you understood my post, I went to the garage to simply check the oil level, the torque converter lock up clutch from my understanding makes gear changes smoother etc. The info I've got on the lock up...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

Sorry it took so long but there is a slight update but not much has happened other than a lot of research, looking into the juddering people are saying it's the torque convertor lock up clutch, but when they put the car into sport or manual mode that lock up clutch is disabled thus stopping the...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

No I havent, I might try it if I swap the oil out, I've read somewhere that the torque converter becomes "nackered" when the clutches in the gearbox wear and the debris from that clogs up the TC, I'm just not sure what to do as I've had so many opinions! I don't fancy stripping the box down just...

The sump pan can be removed easily, it's the plastic one with the filter built in

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

Yeah it's the same box, I've had the codes read and there's nothing stored in there, also I've been told not to reset the settings as the gearbox will set all tolerances back to zero on worn parts which will supposedly in effect make the gearbox 'self destruct' The sump pan is a bit damp so I...

    Range rover vogue gearbox issues

Hi guys, I've been searching for a while and have spoke to various specialists and can't get a definitive answer so I am looking for some advice! I have a range rover vogue 2007 3.6 v8 with the 6 speed ZF box, the issues I'm having are when going uphill the gearbox judders quite badly and the...
