    third row seats.

Does anybody know if it is legal for children to use the third row front facing seats? The grandchildren are 8 and 6 years old and I have sat them in to try for size, seatbelt position ect. and they look fine but not sure how legal it is.

    R380 drain plug

Trouble is it is only 3/8 square and they are not very strong. I have just bought a 1/2 to 3/8 square drive adaptor and will try that on a breaker bar tomorrow. I wanted an impact one as that would be stronger but Toolstation hadn't got one in stock.

    R380 drain plug

Mine is a 3/8 square and just as tight. I have just destroyed a 3/8 square drive ratchet (it was a cheap one). I have got to come up with a stronger better method.

    TD5 Suspension

After I renewed both air bags last year, and found out how easy it was, I wouldn't even consider converting to springs. It takes less than an hour to do both sides and you don't even have to take the wheels off (I have know it to take longer to wash the thing). and about 80 quid every five years...

    CD changer "No Disc" ??

Dave, If you do strip it down, I would plug it in and put the cd cartridge in an watch what happens. If it is like mine it sounds like it pulls the disk in to read but the mechanism was jammed. it then tries to select the next disk.............and so on. I never saw what was causing it to jam...

    CD changer "No Disc" ??

I have had the same thing twice now but it wasn't the laser dirty. I removed the unit and stripped it down, plugged it back in with the top removed to see what was happening. The mechanism that takes the disk in was sticking and the disk wasn't being drawn into the "spinning up area" and as such...

    Defender vs Discovery

Personal preference but I prefer a manual, as for the crawling in traffic I just put it low ratio in gear and let it tick over. Saves the clutch as well.

    Defender vs Discovery

Well, I had a 300TDi for eight years and thought it was great, and three years ago changed it for a TD5, I have changed both the air suspension bags (An easy DIY job) and other the usual fuel regulator leak have nothing but praise for it. I tow a caravan so the self levelling suspension is...
