    Well the MOT runs out about Christmas time so I will see what news that brings and start from there. I am thinking of a sympathetic rebuild using updated parts where available as I have already put H4 zenon bulbs in complete with up rated loom as well as LED sidelights and indicators. May go...

    Thanks @Gazbo I am sure it will, engine is as sweet as a nut, the other half was following me when we collected it and clocked it at 65mph on the motorway, tightening up the steering is definitely required:eek:

    Yes the bulkhead does need a fair bit of work and that will be the first major project next year. I have decided that the restoration will be sympathetic using upgraded parts where available with the long term aim of having the landie last another 40 years!

    I to have a bouncing wildly inaccurate speedo so I will keep an eye on this thread before tackling the issue.
