That is indeed what also Merc, BMW, etc try to do. And then you go to the stealer and the only staff they still have in their workshop are clueless youngsters who wouldn't know the front of the back of a spanner :rolleyes: Fortunately there are still few independent mechanics who know their stuff.

That is the real bummer. If it had been a matter of just replacing, or potentially swapping wiring loom, that works. But if both items work using a different language... :( Hence my swearing at the LR engineers for making things so complicated ;)
