    Sam77's Build Thread

Noted! Any recommended manufacturers for vehicle specific intercoolers that wont break the bank? I had toyed with the idea of fitting an EGT gauge also, would be good to find a well fitting gauge pod

    Sam77's Build Thread

Ah! I should have added i plan to go for a stage 2 map from Storm tuning in the coming months as i've been told it makes a great difference when towing, hence the EGR delete and exhaust changes. I see where you're coming from though, and i'm sure i'll have an army of purists after my head on a...

    Sam77's Build Thread

Hi guys, thought I would start a thread to showcase the modifications i've done and plan to do with my D2 TD% Metropolis! For those of you that know me and my car from on and off the Forums/Facebook pages, you'll know that my Metropolis doesn't go near any serious off-road conditions, i just...

    Disco 2 Black 2004 TD5 Metropolis

That's me had my Disco a little while now and i'm absolutely loving it, i did have to replace a valve in the ABS module to get it through its MOT but thankfully that was only a £40 part instead of a new module all together! My local Land Rover specialist is almost certain it's the fuel...

    Disco 2 Black 2004 TD5 Metropolis

Thanks for all the welcomes! It was from Autotrader a few weeks ago! Just need to find the right size of tyres that fit perfect with a 2" Terrafirma lift on the original 18" alloys without looking lost in the arches (255/55/R18), something a bit meatier that won't rub. A lot of you will...

    Disco 2 Black 2004 TD5 Metropolis

    Disco 2 Black 2004 TD5 Metropolis

I know I paid way too much for it, dealership price too haha if I remember correctly, book price for a clean one was about 3.5K? Mine was bought from Essex/London so prices there, just like the prices in Aberdeen are usually a bit more.

    Disco 2 Black 2004 TD5 Metropolis

Thought i'd take the chance to introduce myself as i haven't actually done it yet. I'm Sam, i'm from right on the Aberdeen City/Aberdeenshire border and i've not long bought my first Land Rover! It's something completely different for me as i'm used to a Drift/Show Lexus IS200 SE that would...

    D2 Priorities.

Thanks for all the replies folks! Much appreciated! I was always under the impression that EGR delete and a decat would just make it reek like mad? Which i'm not a fan of haha. I'm also going to look in to Nanocom or Hawkeye as 90% of any work on it's going to be done by myself

    D2 Priorities.

So I'm fairly new here, I've got a D2 TD5. I'm 100% car/bike enthusiast. It's my main hobby, I waste all my time and money on it and rather than just storming out and throwing money at modulars and a lift, I'd like to get a rough list of priorities together. As gurus, what's REALLY worth...

    My D2 so far

Are those modulars 7" wide or 8" wide? ET20? Also, i can only seem to find +3" shocks for the rear and only +2" for the front? Is that the same as shown in the image above?

I'm well aware of how laborious a job it is haha, very time consuming too. I'll contact a couple of specialists up here and see what they say. No harm in asking! Thanks for that link, i'll take a look!
