    From bright yellow to grey

Having a lot of spare time on my hands over the last few months, I decided to spray my 90 with RAF grey/blue Raptor liner. My first ever spray job so please forgive the overall quality. I kept a few bits the old colour which I quite like. Before and after pics below.

    Heavy Clutch V Dodgy Hip

Sadly, It looks like I may have to sell my Defender :(:(:(. I have a bit of a dodgy hip and sitting in traffic every day with such a heavy clutch is agony. I love driving her but I cannot deal with the clutch. Is there anything that can be done (not converting to auto) with the clutch to make...

    MOT nightmare

Glass etching is not really a deterrent if the vehicle is going to be broken to parts and shipped abroad and it is only on the glass. I have used https://www.selectadna.co.uk/dna-asset-marking/dnavehicle and slapped it on everything including wheels, likes. seats, lights.

    MOT nightmare

Well, I have the beast back after the MOT work and she is now a little bit heavier with all the welding needed. Set me back about £800 in total with £400 of that for the welding. Also sorted elecs and new tyre. Thanks for all the advice. I am now going to fit a tracker and I am buying a stoplock...

LED Halo type Headlights - a word to the wise.

I think the white LEDs stay on when the indicator is used so therefore no interference with the DRLs. It's been a blinking nuisance to sort out ;)

LED Halo type Headlights - a word to the wise.

Just thought I would share an issue I have had with the LED headlights I have fitted to my 110 as you can see in the pic below. You will see that these have a halo which acts as the DRLs. These halos change to flashing amber when the indicators are used. During the MOT last week one of the...

    MOT nightmare

Hi All, The Beast is in the garage. I have been quoted £350 for the welding which I think is a result!! The garage does MOT test and had the DVLA in today so they showed them the LED headlights that are fitted and they confirmed the DRLs etc are fine so another result there! Thanks for the...

    MOT nightmare

Sorry to quash your rant Magic but I was referring to a replacing my rusty chassis when I said it was something I would consider. :p:p Your enthusiasm for a Tracker has prompted me to look having one fitted as soon as possible.;)

Thanks Mungo, It is something I will certainly consider. Just waiting for the estimate from the garage before making a decision. Will keep you posted.

    MOT nightmare

Hi All, I am a month in to my Defender 110 ownership and I have just taken her in for an MOT......Oh dear....19 failures and 6 advisories! A good few of the fails are due the garage not appreciating the quirks of the car such as the hazard warning light switch on the TD5 centre console is...

    Hello all from Bromley

Hi All, My name is Stuart and I am a longtime worshipper at the church of Land Rover but have now fully committed to the faith with the purchase of my 1990 110 Defender. She is Ex-MOD with a major restoration carried out several years ago. We have only been together for a month so still...
