    Thanks Nodge68, yes nothing wrong with fuses. If I plug the light unit into the drivers side it works fine. So a problem with the electrical supply further back than the light unit

    Hello Artic2, thanks for your thoughts. The connections are all fine however. There is an electrical fault of some kind with the power supply to the bulb despite the brake light filament of the same bulb working. I just don’t know where to look next
