wow, interesting pic! guess the other cracks are too small then? SO of course only an opinion but more than likely this sort of thing on a V8 is a case of when not if?

    4 litre or 4.6 litre???

Ah got you, so it is due to a crack not the whole thing being a honeycombe? Sorry if seem slow, just have never understood this. So there is a hairline crack in the block rather than lots of holes? Is that due to many different things such as overheating/buring too hot/bad engine mapping or more...

    4 litre or 4.6 litre???

Bonnieboy, I recon it is swings and roundabouts having had both. I remember when they were still in production a few different salesmen saying the 4.0 was smoother but i dont really notice it. Think you get more oomph from the 4.6 dont think there is much in the fuel consumption really. Dont...

    How Do You Clean Leather

IF you have a local AGA shop nip in and buy an e-cloth, they use ex NASSA stuff and are beyond amazing! They are about 12 quid. Test a small area first, got my bike leathers spotless and you know how the white writing on the indicator stalks etc gets dirty, bought that up like new.. always test...

    What its worth?

Bearing in mind I am no expert, The biggest thing I would insist on is a REALLY decent test drive, not the ususal 5 miles round the block. What little I have learned from my ownership of Classics is : Check all the toys, unused toys in Range Rovers, seem to die in my experience. Try...

    What its worth?

I have to say personally, I think its worth the money. Classics are going up in price. I bid on a 1993 k reg one the other day (right hooker) admitadly but had no coolant in it before i test drove it and was still outbid on it. Sold for £5,000. !!!! Thats one with 70,000 miles on the...

    EAS clarification

Have been doing a lot of reading about Air suspension issues trying to fathom out the problem in my car. Essentially, compressor running more than it should. New compressor And constantly altering itself up and down when running. Just looking to see if anyone can confirm or say I am...

    Looking for a Range Rover

Good luck! Hope it did not sound too negative. Sounds like an ideal choice. I would be seriously tempted to have another classic in the family at some point. Met someone the other day who is seriously wealthy, like many millions, (point will be relevant in a sec) and despite cash not being a...

    expensive? still looking...

oh, I could very easily be wrong but I thought that was what it does. Perhaps it was a manual that was converted. I know of one HSE that was converted, so although must be mind boggling expensive, could have been done ages ago I guess. Sorry to have added more confusion.

    Looking for a Range Rover

I do own a Rangie 4.6 and it is not really badly behaved, has the odd issue from time to time. At that age I would advise to take your time checking the air suspension on them if you are not familiar with it. If it has been kept in tip top shape there will be paper work showing replacement...

    P38 Air Suspension.

great, can i ask how much you charge and where you are, and when it would be possible? Thanks.

    expensive? still looking...

Cool, well sounds ideal. Hope you are both very happy! From memory the button with the cog is for switching the car in to low ratio, I take it, it is a manual gear box? All the manuals have that, blanked out on the auto as it is on the H gate.

    P38 Air Suspension.

really, thats not too far. Are you able to test for faulty height sensors?

    expensive? still looking...

sounds nice but does sound a little on the expensive side. Hope you manage to screw at least a little discount from them. Also, just a thought but I was pretty sure land rover never but never warranty cars of that age. Good to hear they make exceptions shows they have more faith in their own...
