    LP fuel pump

Yep, whining noise is fairly common with the non genuine low pressure pumps. I've replaced quite a few in the workshop for customers, over the years, and most of the after market ones were quite loud when running. Sad to say also, but few of them lasted more than 12 months, so I'd keep your...

    L322 Engine light/misfire

Hi Guys, sorry it took a while to get back, but just got my sick big RR back on the road yesterday. So the misfire problem on cylinder 8 was being caused by a burnt exhaust valve. Also had a gas injector down on another cylinder causing her to run lumpy when she was switching over to lpg. But...

    injector removal

Hydraulic injector puller probably the only way. Some areas have a mobile guy that goes round garages removing them. If you ask at your local garage they might be able to suggest someone that has one.

Oil in the spark plug 4.4 v8

Yea, the misfire is definitely in the cylinder that is oiling the plug its number 4 on the left side rear bank. Its partly off that cylinder as when I lift the coil pack up off the plug when the engine is running it does effect the run of the engine slightly, but if I lift the one beside it up...

Oil in the spark plug 4.4 v8

Hi holiday children, thanks for the reply. I'm going to do a compression test today. The only time it really smokes at all is for the first 30 seconds or so after start up, then stops smoking. I had thought originally maybe valve stem seals, but I was confused as It always remains partly off...
