    Hi thanks so much, it seems it was the spade connector between the feed and the solenoid itself. Took it off, cleaned it, put it back. Now it runs and holds 12.8 volts, drops to 8.5 when starting. Thanks again for all your help. About to go for a spin x

    Hello again. We have checked the fuel solenoid and it is reading 12V with the ignition on. We did get it to start and run for at least 10 minutes, then for decreasing numbers of minutes a few times before it cut out each time. It just stops, no sputtering or warning of any kind. Now it won't...

    Thanks everyone, yes it is diesel. The manual fuel pump feels stiff as well when trying to get diesel through the fuel lines. I don't know how it stopped when my partner was driving but when it happened to me, it just died, no sputtering or warning. I tried to start it again and still nothing...
