Series 3 MOD 6way headlight Switch

i recently broke the knob on my headlight switch (rotary 6 way convoy version). Has anyone got one knocking about to sell? The switch itself is fine, I just need the knob but I will buy the whole thing if necessary! The Lucas ones are £330 which is a lot for just a knob but I’ll buy a second...

    Seties 3 Badges

My 1980 Series 3 109 FFR has the original rear Landrover badge covered in a camo paint job. What colour should it be? The original vehicle colour when it was in service with the Royal Signals was always NATO green as it never left the UK. Should it be body colour or bare alu?

    Clansman whip aerials

I'm thinking of replacing the whip aerials and wing boxes on my former FFR S3 109 converted to 12v. If I connect them to an FM and/or CB will they work?

What to do with my 109

I've just acquired a very good low mileage 1980 Series 3 109. It's a soft top ffr petrol version.I can't make up my mind whether to try to return it to original equipment standard or maybe to convert it to more general or even camper style. Any views out there? Jim

    New 109 Owner

Hi Landypeople I drove lots of Landrovers in the forces and I've owned two Freelanders (both fantastic cars) still driving the most recent one (2011). But I thought it was time I had a proper Landrover so I've just bought a 1980 Series 3 petrol 109 soft top which did 17 years with Her Majesty...
