    Freelander 1 Gearbox advice

Well I had a nice 8am slave explosion yesterday in busy traffic, the clutch just before was flat on the floor and the car was moving forward, rammed it in second and the clutch dropped to the floor, limped it to the hard shoulder and was lucky I had a spare master/slave in the boot! I did...

    Freelander 1 Gearbox advice

I have exactly the same issue and have replaced the master and slave and the bracket to no effect. Also tried changing the gearbox oil for MTF94 but again no difference (old oil looked fine TBH). Tried a load of WD40 on the clutch arm too. The one difference I think though is that IIRC I can...

Freelander 1 New owner, how to protect my investment?

Hey guys I just bought a 1.8 petrol Freelander 1 Serengeti from early 2003 and starting to wonder if I've made a mistake. I've not actually got the car yet but have test driven it and all seemed ok except the clutch needs to be all the way to the floor before changing gear, is that normal...
