Just another update on the buggy. Not much to report but I've managed to get some more done on the steering. Had a bit of a headache getting all the angles to work and keep enough axle articulation!

I hear what your saying Paul. It's actually a front sprocket from a 40cc mini-moto so i figured if it can manage to pull an adult a long on one of those then it should manage the steering on the buggy; at least that's the theory!

Another update. Been making a reduction drive for the steering to make it feel more realistic (2.5 turns lock to lock) and make it easier for little Florence to steer. The steering column will attach to the small sprocket and a pitman arm will come off the large sprocket. I've also got the...

Thanks Jam, Yeah on reflection i think chequer plate is wrong. I wonder how i can finish that to keep it from corroding/rusting. I was gonna have it all powder coated but with use will the finish come off the eges of that mesh? Perhaps stainless steel mesh is the answer?
