This may seem like a silly question. But are the latching switches INSIDE the door lock/solenoid mech? I was expecting to find a push button 'earthing' switch like on an old fashioned motor for the interior lights ... Again, I appreciate all the replies ...

Ah! This makes perfect sense! As i have an intermittent "door open" warning light also .... Thank You SO MUCH ... there may be more questions!... but this gives me something to eliminate before i move onto the next problem ... Cheers Chaps!

Hi. Just a question. I have some alarm faults / central locking issues. . . But in order to attemp to unravel it .. is there a meaning for the alarm horn sometimes beeping once when i operate the door lock? . . . . (Scanned RAVE for answers without much success) Thanks In Advance Nick.
