Thanks ,yes a very nice area ,but a bit remote especially in winter,and at the moment it’s bloody wet .but at least I can now see where I’m going ,and the sheep are safer .

Have now fitted Osram Night Breakers ,they seen a lot better, now I can see where I’m going ,and main beams are superb.

I live in darkest Lancashire .The lights on my 2002 p38 are very poor unless I’m on main beam ,I really would like to uprate them to give me more of a chance to see where I’m going ,any ideas .At the moment I’ve got 60/55main dip and 55 main beam .

Just removed fuze no 14 ,that’s stopped the buzzing ,just means that the back doors are not on the remote lock unlock ,but as it’s only my wife and I ,I can live with that .So until I feel in the mood to get at the solanoid in the spring that’s it for now .

Very difficult to get at the flap end relay as this is an ex police vehicle and there is as extra battery box in the boot right the other side of where the relay will be.Could I just disconnect the switch and as I can get at the fuel cap by just lifting the flap over the release catch leave it...

Tried that nothing ,before this happened the flap release pin was going in and out like the clippers then it stopped in the flap closed position and it cannot be moved back into the flap open postion ,ie retracted.

Hi there ,the buzzing is intermittent with no particular pattern.the flap release rod is in the flap closed position,and there are no other issues with the car.

The fuel flap is not releasing on my 2002 p38 .the engine is switched off and when I push the button on dash nothing happens ,the emergency cord in the boot doesn’t do anything either . I’ve had the dash off and everything looks ok at the switch end .What I have noticed is when I sit in the car...

Would I be able to splice into the inner main beam and run a line to the main beam pin on the outer dip / main beam light ?. If the bulbs are 55\60 would that work or maybe overload the mofset.I ask in case the garage is unable to sort out the problem without going down the becm removal route.

Thank you,I have changed back to 55\60 lamps ,the car is booked in for next week to be checked over prior to MOT'd , Are the MOSFET's easy to change if that is what it turns out to be,and will my local Land Rover engineer know what to look for.

Hi there ,my problem is that when I switch to main beam only the right hand side goes to main beam,the two inner lamps also go to main beam.I have changed over the bulbs but still no joy.The bulbs are 100\80 12v ,should I go to 55\60's ,would that make any difference?. I can't find anything...
