Well, it not a truck cab anymore. I put on a soft top which I really like. Much less engine noise. And I'm in the process of painting it marine blue. First coat is on. Slowly getting there.

Yes there is fresh oil in it. I know they are known to make some noise. But what about that clutch sleeve question?

Is it correct that the clutch sleeve in a Fairey overdrive is not turning relative to it's surrounding components when the overdrive is not engaged and should therefore be silent? Trying to pinpoint grinding noises in my od.

Thanks for the tip. But new tubeless rims means I'd have to get new tyres as well. Don't want that, the ones I have are as good as new so that would be a waste of money.

By the way, the flat tyre was caused by the tyre slipping on the rim and ripping the tyre valve. It this a common problem with tubed tyres? And can I somehow prevent this?

I have been using the Land Rover a lot. I runs really well. Took it off road again today. Lost a mudflap at some point. Only noticed when I was editing the video.. (1:04) lol. And have one flat tyre unfortunately. But the spare was fitted quickly so no problem. I find it very stratifying that...

Today we had a nice off road day! No problem at all with those 7.50x16 wheels. And overall It's running very good. And a short video impression.

I put the razor bonnet on and with the spare tyre it looks very nice I think. Also took the black paint off the galvanized bumper. In my opinion, galvanized bits and paint don't go together.

Very nice work. Really like this one. I would make the hinge the same as the car. Are those one piece defender door seals?

Thanks. Repairing did'nt work. I was hard to get the banjo in the tube again. Heating it helpt but i was not happy with the connection. I ended up replacing the whole tube for a clear one.
