Got an annoying problem with the defender. First the problem....My wipers won't Park properly. They will move on every setting (intermittent, slow,fast) but not Park. On intermittent they will carry on for a second or two after I turn them off but always Park in a different position each time...

Damaged wire somewhere on those circuits or could even be a faulty bulb or light unit. Take them off and clean them all up with contact spray and then try what rasher said with the fuses.

I second the prop shafts uj. First place I would look.

Unfortunately you can't really put anything on the pulleys as it will transfer to the rubber on the belt. Well nothing I'm aware of anyway. A little bit of pitting/rust on the pulleys shouldn't cause a grinding noise. Maybe for a few seconds or minutes maybe whilst it was being rubbed off after...

Had a similar problem with mine a while back. Turns out to be the swivel housing had no lubricant in. Worth topping up. Or maybe grease the prop shafts. Both easy and cheap to do. Only cost of oil or grease. Could be uj's on props. Again not expensive and can do yourself if you have a few...

Hi all. New to the site so be gentle..... What do pressing the lock fob twice do on my alarm? I know that once activates the full alarm but if I press it a second time the lights will flash but not sure what it does. Nothing about it in the manual and no luck via Google search. It's a 2002...
