    Hi, I`m trying to source a step bracket; part no. 552132. I`ve tried Paddocks, Craddocks, e bay, Dunsfold - all the regulars. Landrover Orphanage have got one, but it`s attached a Stage 1...but I`d have to buy the lot (i.e. they`re not prepared to take it orf). Any suggestions? Mike R

    Defender CD/Radio into a series 3 109 1982

    Jis bought at Landrover Blaupunkt CD radio, which I think was an after market part for Defenders and Freelanders. Have bought a Defender radio fitting kit also. DIN plugs don`t not match. What bits do I need and where do I get them from please? Old Bloke

    pair-o-bolics for a series 3

    Anybody fitted a pair of hairy bollox to a s.3 LWB? Mine is a 1982 109. There is a set for sale on flea bay, but states from an 88" (states 2 leaf on the front and 3 leaf on the back) Gotta a feeling the ride`ll be like a tramp o`lean.........or maybe just like a tramp. WHADDJUWRECKIN?

    Help please, 109, no dip beam or horn.

    Acceptable cylinder pressures?

    2.25 petrol; 1982. Changed the head, new gasket etc. Manual states 165 psi Pressure test shows 110 psi If rings are a bit worn I am not too concerned, but if valves not seated properly then I may need to take the head off again. Thanks Old Bloke

    O.K. New Webber carb. professionally checked. Timing professionally checked. New fuel pump. Runs sweetly. Get to about 55 m.p.h. and engine dies. Picks up again. Runs nicley at lower revs. Capacitor on distributor not very tight...but securing screw thread stripped. Would this cause it...

    Petrol pump, how do you get access?

    How da`fug do yew get at the two nuts holding the petrol pump to the block??? Its a 2.25 petrol series 3 LWB, with a mechanical pump jis` blow the disfrimmeter. Kin just get a 13mm socket and extension, but at an angle only. Starting to round me nuts orf. Tried a ratchet spanner. Have taken...

    Series 3 overheating

    Guys, 2.25 petrol. Working fine `till I had the head off. Bottom pipe cold. Dial in the red. Have had the thermostat off. Tested it in saucepan (amongst the kids pasta for tea). It`s opening and closing O.K. (I ran it under cold water to see). Water pump?

    Leaking balls!!! Series3 1982

    I`ve got grease on me nuts and whats more I `ve got oil seeping down onto the inside of the front right wheel. Whado-I-need to order from Paddocks? Or do I have to strip it all down then see? (and leave it on the axle stands for weeks...) Old Bloke
