Thanks its not just alittle bit of play its like stirring a bowl, I'll order one and see what happens and look at getting a boost gauge fitted permanently at some point. Got alot of cleaning to do then I think.

Hi thanks for that will look at getting one, I've just taken the pipe of the turbo and there's oil in all the pipes and the turbo spinner ( not sure of the correct name ) is really loose so I'm sure the turbo needs to be replaced. Thanks

Hi Hulks Did you manage to sort your problem out as mine is doing similar, its had a recon engine put in and all was fine but has started smoking heavy on acceleration was told the turbo wasnt great and wasn't sure if that's was the cause or not. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I say it lacks power but that could just be that the turbo is not working and has poss gone and it seems lacking as I'm use to it working?

Hi when the engine was fitted I was told the turbo wasn't great and when pulling off going through the gears it smokes but when it's going/ up to speed it's fine ?
