    P38 Diesel water temp low

Not sure if this is correct , but on my p38 d it always seems to directly related to the outdoor temp. So it stays in the before the blue bit in winter and never over dead centre or in the mid zone in summer. What does this mean?

    P38 2.5 Plug Relay Faulty?

How does the glowplug relay fail? Does it just stop suddenly or degrade over time?
  13. C

    Just wont start!!!

I reckon it's the low battery voltage, it gets low the becm gets amnesia and the sync gets bolloxed. Resync required then a new battery.

taking a while to start...... 2.5 DSE

I have noticed the same recently after just a few degrees drop in morning temp. I have already changed to new plugs, battery and pump. I think it may be a glowplug relay problem, it still preheats for the same 5-7 seconds but takes longer cranking to fire. Also noticed after the preheat light...

    P38 Bottle Jack

So I filled it up with transmission fluid via the fill/level plug, pumped the handle, nothing. The jack looks like new, can't think why it has failed. I maybe think that the oil might be too thin. I will drain and refill with thicker oil. The pressure release valve looks ok to me , I did...

    P38 Bottle Jack

Yep I have some transmission fluid left over, so I will use that. How do I purge any air out? I am assuming the rubber plug is the filler? And I fill it up on it's side?
