    What TDI is my engine?

Thanks for your help guys. After some reading, i can see some really mixed reviews on 19J TD. Looks like it all points down to Land Rover made the mistake of adding a turbo and not doing anything to the engine itself? I agree on some points, It definitely struggles up hills but it doesn't...

    What TDI is my engine?

Okay, this may be a real stupid question, but I don’t know? I know the engine size is 2.5 and it’s a Defender 90, 1989. How do I know what TDI it is? People keep asking but I honest don’t know? It has a cambelt if this helps? I assume 200 TDI?

Landrover 90 - Tried everything, whats left?

Battery is only a couple of months old, that's the strange thing. Could it be drained because of the dodgy earth? I will check all connectors again tonight. Thanks for your help.

Landrover 90 - Tried everything, whats left?

Thanks mate, not selling on here, just on Gumtree. Didn't know you could sell on here to be honest. It will try to start! Then it gets drained and ends up with the repeated loud clicking noise.

Landrover 90 - Tried everything, whats left?

Hi, I've got a Landrover 90 - 1989 and the bugger wont start. Its a strange one though... I had the same issue before, so I changed the Starter motor, that made it work for a bit but still no. I then changed the alternator, battery, glow plugs and main earth to the chassis. It ran fine for...

    Jet Washing?

Now that is something I didn't know! So when you see them all over the internet for sale as defenders are people just saying that because there more known and they want a quick sale or is it this a wide unknown mistake everyone is making? Because theirs loads I looked at under 1990 and they...

    Jet Washing?

Spot on! Thanks for the reply's! Cheers for letting me know about it being a 90 aswell. I saw this on the add when i bought it but it said Land Rover Defender 90. I'm assuming this is something many get wrong? Or do people just call them Defenders when there not? Thanks

    Jet Washing?

Very new to all this, so this is probably an extremely stupid question. I have an 1985 defender pickup and will be starting some work on it this weekend. First job, cleaning and preserving the chassis. Before going to town with disc cutter and wire cup brush on the chassis, I was...

    Hello!

Bankz you an absolute diamond! Very helpful! The steering definitely is not right; it’s got a hell of a lot of give. To confirm, when I’m on road, should the stick be in lo position when on or off road? Thanks in advance.
