Hi, got some good advice from you before so; wonder if anyone knows why my '97 V8 3.9 is a bit gutless. Doesn't seem to accelerate as it's supposed to. Engine seems fine, except for slightly erratic tickover but revs fine. clutch slipping problem maybe?

When I replaced air filter I'd forgot to put the breather hose back (right hand side on top cover) Also noticed pipe to actuator by accelarator mechanism was split badly where it was pushed on. Hi, thanks CharlesY will check it out. Sounds very probable. Have just replaced air filter. and a pipe from something was hanging off. Came from near the throttle cable and looked like it came from behind screen washer bottle at the other end so I put it back.
