    Low range not engaging

    I might be misunderstanding but the gear symbol and the select neutral message is when the gearbox wants to switch to low range, if you move the selector to low range neutral and wait a few seconds 'LOW' should appear in the message centre and you're in low range

    Update, I can now say that I own a Range Rover. 1997 4.6 HSE with 82,000 miles and FSH. Picked it up on Monday and drove down to Southampton. Air suspension seems to be working fine, went between low and normal when it should have done on the dual carriageway, hasn't dropped overnight either...

    okay, so the leak might be happening before the air actually reaches the air bags? if that makes sense? The Hevac light is quite worrying, I guess all I can do at the moment is mention it when I go back tomorrow and see what they say

    it's near Guildford/Farnham I'll have a look at the air bags and try and see what condition they're in Sounds like the hevac stuff either needs to get sorted before I think about buying it, or calls for a large discount......

    Thanks, well if the compressor gets changed and i'm able to drive it a decent distance without a problem then I guess that would be okay, the guide on how to change the air bags on here looks really helpful. Thinking worst case scenario do you know how much getting new blend motors fitted...
