Thanks for that Dom, The muck in the mixture screw was very difficult to remove, almost as if it had been purposely put in there. Thanks for the schematic , I was quite sure I had cleaned the carb well, used a whole can of carb cleaner, every hole was sprayed well. I hadn't checked the gauze...
