    I'm not sure on the P38A, but the classic's ones are held down by six hex-nuts. Try looking from the underneath of the seat up? Or at the corners? L

    *Is embarassed*....guys.... There was no problem. I semi-manualled it and gave it a good thrashing in third, only to watch the needle fall to about 1700 when I put it into drive at 40mph. Whoops! I guess LR just build their transmission so well you cannot feel the changes!

    I'm not sure, but underneath the cubby/armrest thing there is a blue and white wire leading to underneath the passenger seat. This wire has a plug on it around the cubby area and if it's disconnected the car WON'T start lol

    Is it usual for a 1990 RR V8's fan to be pretty loud, until you keep it at the same revs and it suddenly goes quiet, still working, but doesn't sound like a hovercraft?! Not a major problem, but would like to hear a bit more engine ;) L

    Lol don't start me on the rust! My battery bay and rear door (just on the corner of the window guide have succumbed to rust. I smacked my seatbelt anchors...and I was showered in rust! Jigsawed them out and new panels. Thankfully the chassis is in very good nick, just some minor cosmetic...
