    How does it work ?

Putting a car on springs does remove the frisson when the orange EAS light stops flashing, knowing that one day soon it won't.

Super-luxury Range Rover SVAutobiography - Official

Here's a quick review I found: Range Rover unveils most depressing vehicle in history ;)

head light grills yes or no?

My view is that unless you actually need them all you're doing is increasing the risk to pedestrians if you should accidentally hit one. Same goes for bull-bars, ****y spots etc.

    Rattle - driveshaft?

    It's a rattling cat! Phew.

    Rattle - driveshaft?

I think I'm going to hope it's the heat shields - they sound much cheaper.

    Rattle - driveshaft?

Another day another issue. My car has developed a metallic rattle, it's there on tickover sort of on and off, sort of a clanking sound coming from underneath near the front. Not so much to think "oh s**t it's going to fall apart", and goes with blipping, but is there. I'm thinking...

    Lambda sensors

I normally do about 50 - 100 miles a day and recently did a full tank on petrol just to compare fuel economy which (for information) is a shade under 17mpg on petrol and a shade under 13mpg on gas for normal mixed driving.

    Lambda sensors

I had a fiddle around with the plug underneath last night but no miraculous change. I don't currently have any software or interface for any ECU, just a wireless OBD connector and a couple of phone apps. I have cleared the fault codes though (several times). Where does the O2 lead go - I can...

    Lambda sensors

It's a Prins system. As soon as I get the chance to start crawling around under the car I'll post what happens. Just to repeat the story so far - I took the car to a garage as it was lumpy on tickover and stank of unburnt fuel. They changed the MAF, HT leads and plugs but found no signal...

    Lambda sensors

As an update, this has been annoying me now for a couple of months as I couldn't decide the best way forward having already thrown a pile of cash at the car. The problem was no signal from either O2 sensors. After much muttering to myself, I thought as Lambda sensors seems to be a relatively...

Playing ipod etc, possibly using CTVLRX002 adaptor

As a follow up - I bought the CTVLRX002 adaptor, it was a piece of cake to fit - plugs in instead of the CD player. I drilled a little hole in the coin holder thing to bring the connector out of the dash and it works! All in all it was straight forward and I no longer have to listen to Jeremy...

O2 Lambda sensor part number help

Ah, just realised that it is the part number in the image you posted - I thought it was just the parts diagram. Thanks.

Thanks, but Island 4x4 state that none of their 02 sensors are suitable for LPG

O2 Lambda sensor part number help

Can anyone help please with the part number for Lambda sensors, Car is a 2000/X reg 4.6, VIN ending YA444528 which is the Thor engine, running on LPG if that makes a difference. The ECU is saying no signal from the O2 sensors so I was thinking maybe chuck one or two new ones on if not too...

    Exhaust advice

I've just paid £255 for centre section and both rear silencers fitted which I think were Bosal (was going to be another make but the other make didn't fit  ). The original had lasted 15 years. I don't anticipate having the car in 15 years so wasn't that troubled by the make.

Converting back from coils to air suspension

18". I'll maybe try swapping front to back and see what happens. P.S. Apologies for the spelling of tyres above - just noticed, autocorrect made it septic.

Converting back from coils to air suspension

Just a thought regarding my odd handling - are P38's sensitive to tires? I've got newish Pirelli Scorpion Zero's on the front and older worn Pirelli Scorpion S/T's on the back. Are the front Zero's prone to tramlining? Pressures are by the book.
