There's still drive but its jerky and with the clicking and clunking, started it up this morning didn't move it, starts fine so all engine is good I assume? Getting it looked at tmorrlw, thanks for all the help everyone, think for time being I'm looking at taking props off till I've got more...

So if i remove prop shaft and vcu it will be at least functional until after crimbi?

The ticking noise seems to come from the passenger front. What am I looking at price wise? Just looked on ebay Freelander ird box? If that's what I'm after I'm looking at 250 cheers for help lads

Recently posted about a vibrating noise when driving would that seem to fit? What would I be looking at to replace ird, all I need at the minute, got baby's birthday, Christmas, gutted.

just took the baby for a drive to get her off to sleep, couple of miles down the round the Freelander made a loud bang then clicking noise has continued to do this all the way home, drove 5mph wincing all the way, looked underneath as it sounded as if something had fell off, nothing, its just...

Checked tyre pressures all ok apart front front passenger side, took it for a quick drive realized from 30 - 40ish its vibration then above that seems to go to a pulsating noise?

Nice one pal, just hope these tyres haven't been different for a long time and its messed anything up, you would think where ever the previous owner got then fitted would have advised on this. I'll get them orders tonight and check all tyre pressures etc.

Cheers grumpy appreciate ur advice I'm new to landrovers! When you say same tyres do you mean same brand as well or will it be ok as long as they're all snow tyres?

Forgot to mention, there is also snow tyres on rear and standard on front, was like this when I got it not sure if that could also be a problem.

h:):i all, sorry for asking for help so soon after joining but my 04 Freelander td4 is vibrating like hell as soon as I get over 30mph, its not coming through the steering wheel and also isn't present at standstill when revving, which would leave me to believe its the rear wheels/ brakes...

alreet everyone, just got myself a Freelander a couple of weeks ago thought id join up as ill probably need some help with a few bits! Looking forward to some snow hopefully this winter so I get a chance to have a play.:)
