    I agree. We have changed our fuel buying habits from using the Supermarket with the green logo to the local Shell garage and the price is generally within 2p per litre of the supermarkets.:bounce: shock horror!!

    Problem now found and resolved. It was water in the fuel filter. I have temporarily replaced the two non-standard filters and am looking to source a standard filter head and sedimenter so I can use the standard filter in future. Thanks for all of your input and advice. Paul

    Just checked, no oil in ECU socket, no sign of oil in plug. Started it up and the idle was rough, like it was missing on one cylinder. Took it for a thrash and it is now running normally although it was a bit sluggish for about 3/4 of a mile then surged for a bit then was back to normal. Anyone...
