I'll give the full story and if anyone can help I will be a happy man! Started off with thick white smoke in low revs under load, was also blowing oil out the dipstick, so I changed the Pistons ring, head gasket set, lapped the valves in and replaced the turbo with a good second hand one, on...

I've sent a few messages but no answer, just been out to the motor, got a 17mm spanner over the splines with the ring end, but wouldn't fit over with the flat end, would probably gone over with a bit of force so hope that answers my question

Anyone? I just need to no what bit is measured is it the spine diameter?

Hi guys, been looking for a smaller steering wheel for my discovery 200tdi it's a 36 spline but not having much luck, so looking at a steering boss, I no I need a 36 spline one, but it's saying something about 16mm, 17mm, 18.5mm column, can anyone shed some light in this? I no he retaining nut...
